| PAL-I EMF
System |
| The PAL-I
is a neurosurgical device that generates a HF wave signal to
vaporize, cut and coagulate tissue. This energy is an extremely
precise and is focused on the tip of the PAL-I's pencil type
hand piece electrode. This pin point energy does not cause damage
or cause thermal necrosis to surrounding structure without the
use of a grounding pad. |
Benefits: |
 |
Small and flexible
hand piece
Various types of hand piece, bayonet and pencil, which
do not obstruct the surgeons field of view under a microscope. |
 |
Protection of
surrounding structures
Using the PAL-I the surgeon will not damage surrounding
structures, cranial nerves, perforating arteries, and
other vital structures. |
 |
Use of low power
Enabling the surgeon to vaporize and cut without causing
thermal damage to the surrounding tissue. |
 |
Better control
of bleeding
With the same hand piece, the surgeon can quickly control
bleeding by using the coagulation mode. |
 |
Reducing operative
time
The PAL-I EMF System has proven to reduce surgical time,
which translates to less trauma to the patient, more effective
surgeries for the surgeon and reduced cost for the hospital. |
