Scanditronix MM50
The main focus of the Advanced Treatment Systems division is the MM50 Racetrack ARTS which represents a new generation in advanced radiotherapy treatment systems (ARTS).
The MM50 produces either high-energy electron or photon beams, all shaped by the same double focused multileaf collimator and intensity modulated by the same scanning system provides the cornerstones for modern radiotherapy and future optimization developments. As a result, the potential for efficient and successful treatment of almost any malignant tumor is being realized.

Can simultaneously serve multiple treatment rooms and be used for research purposes; produces very well defined electron energies perfect for scanning and depth dose modulation
Integrated system
Easy handling and flexible control of all treatment parameters; single, uninterrupted treatment session, giving optimal efficiency in the minimum of time
Application:
MM50 is a high-tech equipment for the treatment of cancer. By increasing the energy of particles accelerated in compact equipment, the MM50 improves the performance of conventional radiotherapy systems but at a cost that is significantly lower than proton therapy.
